Why Partners and Not Members?

Country clubs and members have "rights" and "privileges", Partners have "responsibilities" and "team-work". We think that makes a world of difference. Growth and Partnership is a process. At Valley we have an easy step by step journey to become a Partner as we build and expand the Kingdom of God together.

Attend Worship Regularly

The first step in the journey to becoming a Partner at Valley is to be in worship on a consistent basis. We like to tell people that they should check out a new church for at least 4-6 weeks. That gives you a good amount of time to see the heartbeat of Valley and what the culture and people are like.

Pizza With the Pastor

Your next step would be to attend "Pizza With the Pastor". Pizza with the Pastor is a monthly event to help you learn more about the church, the staff, and Pastor Matt. When you attend a new church it's easy to think you're the only newer person. But you're not! Pizza with the Pastor is an informal chance to meet some other people at Valley, learn more about Valley's history and story, and discover how to get connected. Partner Discovery

We believe every Christian should belong to a local church and become a partner with that church. Serving, giving, and participating in Biblical community. We don't call it "membership" because members have rights, partners have responsibilities. Partner discovery is a one time group experience offered twice a year. If you're ready to get serious about your faith, help us build the Kingdom of God, and have some fun along the way; then Partner Discovery is your next step! You'll discover what it means to live a life for God, for People, for a Change in practical ways that will actually grow your walk with Jesus.
