Outdoor Worship
June 14, 21, and 28
10:30AM

We’re reopening. With outdoor worship.

10:30AM. June 14, 21, and 28. Right at the church in the parking lot.

We’ll share sacred space with sacred spacing. Yes, even a parking lot can be sacred space!

QUESTIONS and DETAILS

Will worship still be online?

Yup! We will still livestream the outdoor worship services online on FaceBook and YouTube.

Where can I park?

The parking spaces on the side of the building as you enter, the back area, and the spaces in front of the bank entrance will be available. Country View Drive behind the bank is also an option. Additionally, we have secured permission from Grand Valley Dentistry (on Lake Michigan Dr. just down from the church), Trail Point Brewing Co, and El Azteca (across Lake Michigan Dr.) to use their parking lots. You may park there and then walk the shirt distance to the church parking lot. HERE'S A MAP WITH THE PARKING OPTIONS.

Will I need to wear a mask?

Although we can’t mandate it outdoors, we would like to encourage everyone to wear a mask so we can be as safe as possible and respectful to those around us.

Will we practice social distancing?

Yes. We will give “air hugs” and “air high fives” instead of handshakes and hugs! We will also ask that you sit at least 6 feet apart from those around you. The band will be in their “stage” area even further apart from the seating area which we will have marked.

What’s happening for Kids?

There will be no Valley Kids programming, however we will have fun bags ready to go for your kids while they worship with you. The nursing area in the hallway will also be sanitized and available for use for all our new parents and moms. The Valley Kids room will be unaccessible to limit contact and activity.

Should we bring our own chairs?

Yes please! Any kind of chair you’d like for sitting in the parking lot area or the grassy area along the sidewalk of 60th Ave. We will also have some chairs sanitized and ready to go from inside for any guests or if you forget your own.

What happens if the weather is bad?

If it’s just a sprinkle bring your umbrella, just like we would for a sporting event. However if it’s going to be really gross we will send out updates on social media and email and worship will be live-streamed online only. We should all pray for three weeks of good weather! Pure Michigan. LOL.

What if I have to use the bathroom?

We got you! The doors will be propped open and the bathrooms will be available.

Will there be doughnuts and coffee?

Nope. Not yet. Boo! We know, we’re bummed to, but it’s best this way for now. Feel free to bring your own and show off.
